HUNTING SEASON STARTING - FISHING POLE RACK PROJECT COMPLETED - PELLET STOVE - OCTOBER SURPRISE??

Blending In

Caught on Camera

Fallow deer taken recently during a deer herd thinning hunt on a private reserve in Texas. All deer taken are dressed out and the meat donated to Hunters For The Hungry.

Fishing pole rack nearing completion

Gifted to neighbor and installed

Looks very cool full of poles

-----------
Son installed a pellet stove recently in the old home. With fuel prices through the roof and being rationed, this will prove to be another option helping to keep the home warm this winter.

------------
For the past month, I have seen articles on the lack of chocolate available. But in the local stores the shelves are overstocked with chocolate candy.

If the "tricker treaters" show up, we are ready.

---------------

I agree. I also remember these growing up.

To this day simple things take me back to those days. But, as I have said before, the sandwich has to be on fresh bread with mayonnaise, salt and pepper.

OCTOBER SURPRISE JUST MIGHT BE NO SURPRISE??

But with one day left in the month, there is still time for me to be wrong.

My money is still on false flags coming soon. Elections. I just do not know.

Thanks for the visit this week. God Bless and keep on keepin' on!!

FISHING POLE HOLDER PROJECT - POKING THE BEAR - JUST RAIN

 Nearing completion.

Couple small flaws to fix; one more cross board on the bottom to keep fishing pole handles set forward in their holes and helping to tilt poles to the rear in the top keepers. Whew.

I have enjoyed getting lost in this.

Shelves inside my small shop next. Will be a great addition to get "stuff" off of work benches.

FAAFO

How to help kick start WWIII.

Practicing for war with Russia? Yep!!

FROM FRED REED

A good read from Fred. It has been years for me reading any of his stuff. Take a few minutes and read.

East Texas Rain

12 seconds of rain last Sunday. Lasted four hours and simple pleasures of watching the rain fall and the land soaking it up. We need this here. More promised tomorrow. The little things in life, huh?

Heads up. Have a blessed week and yes, thanks for the visit.

SUNDOWN FISHING - SV AIRSPEED FINAL BOTTOM PAINT - HELICOPTER ROTOR SYSTEM

Pool Fishing
Ponds are called pools in Texas

Might not look like a place for exciting fishing. But the day before, a catfish took my buddies pole and reel off the bank and into the pool. He got it back later by fishing for the fishing pole. Yes, the catfish was still attached. A good fishing story. Lots of "yahooing" and laughing. I so love to laugh.

But on this night, just a couple crappie. A cold beer and lots of man fishing talk.

SV Airspeed

Bottom paint completed and waiting 6 days for it all to cure. I think this sail boat is art beyond words. This vessel is "good to go" under the water line for the next few years plus will pick up an extra knot of speed.

Project progress

On the bench.

Project complete.

Her vision from the find of an old wheelbarrow wheel two months ago: to have an old wheelbarrow yard display full of yellow mums. Mission complete!

HELICOPTER ROTOR SYSTEM VIDEO

I have shared this video before. A great video showing how rotor blades are constantly changing pitch/angle of attack to equalize lift around the  spinning rotor system. Thank you, Igor.

FYI. A helicopter rotor system has to have equal lift around the flying disc of rotor blades. Thus, the reason for the constant changing of angle of attack during all flight.

There are more factors and aerodynamic issues that come into play and here is a good video showing and explaining one issue associated with helicopter rotor systems. RETREATING BLADE STALL.

--------------

So much chatter this week regarding use of nuclear weapons.

How bad could it really be? Just asking on behalf of the world peeps.

Keep your heads up for False Flags.

-----------

Short post this week. Been busy with life stuff and interrupted sleep.

Keep on keeping on. God bless.

SV AIRSPEED ADVENTURES VIDEO

October has arrived and brings with it this month's, to be written, historical events. Last month ended with Nord Steam pipeline damage/destruction. Plenty of blame and conjecture.

This month hints of winter cooling, a war will wage on and mid term elections will play out.

A noticeable chill in the air here in east Texas. Mornings start with long pants and sweatshirts, afternoons get back back into shorts and T-shirts. Late afternoons find us sitting on the porch or under the covered car port visiting the time away. Gentle winds complete comfortable days.

My wife crock pot meat, potato and veggies dinner is on the cook. Another season change indicator.  Warm home made comfort food that brings the kitchen alive all day.

Catfish fishing with local neighbor has been a most wonderful escape. Lots of laughing, a very good fish story and maybe by the end of our planned fishing week, there will be enough catfish in the freezer for a good fish fry and cold beers. At the end of the day, we were fishing!!

Playing with garage sale fishing reels this morning teaches me again you get what you pay for. All into the garbage can.

I do enjoy repurposing, especially when the little things can be fixed to bring an older tool back to life and on line. Not today!

Heads up, keep planning, practicing, skill sets and another can of beans on the shelves.

God bless and have a great week.
